Category Archives: Promotion For the past several years, I have run a special promotion for professional headshots — theatrical, corporate, fundraisers, congressional wives, mom’s with small businesses, healthcare professionals, rock and rollers for CD covers….for real. All types. I totally, madly LOVE meeting folks with different strokes. It’s so interesting to chat it up while I shoot away….  Each February I run a headshot promotion and it’s underway now. Normally my session fee is $325 for a 20-30 minute session but in February, and now March, I run this for $250. This includes 3-5 wardrobe changes (ties, jackets, shirts for men, blouses, blazers, accessories for women), about 30 minutes shooting time and 7-10… One of my very good friends/colleagues, Armin deFiesta, is a go-getter. He’s always getting his fingers into new projects….he has been a wedding photographer for years but is now doing more commercial work and photographing sports cars. He also is the producer/creator of a photography competition called SHUTTER WARS. It’s a challenge-based reality TV and/or…  UPDATE: Since posting this blog initially, the devastating Earthquake in Haiti has happened and prompted me to donate $50 from EACH session to FOOD for the POOR. This charity has offices and a distribution center in Port au Prince and I will be specifying the $$ to go there. I have raised $250 so far… |
