Category Archives: Fairfax Station wedding photographer These 2 lovebirds are tying the knot later this year somewhere outside of VA. I am not their wedding photographer but they wanted a local engagement session so we headed towards Alexandria. Ironically, they live in the same development that I moved from 2 years ago! Congrats to you Shannon + Matt! I was so busy in the last part of the year that I stopped blogging. So I’m going to put a few up over the next couple of weeks b/c some are too cute to pass up. These two love birds got married in October. We couldn’t fit their engagement session in before the wedding…  Last Friday was a big day for me. It’s not often that life presents a sweet gift of happiness somewhat unexpectedly. About a year ago I helped a few industry friends/colleagues with a bridal trunk show in Chevy Chase, MD. A hairstylist, a makeup artist, 2 models (who happen to be sisters) and a photographer…  So I usually do not accept “just engagement” sessions. I have a full plate as it is and I usually reserve these only for wedding packages only. But I took this client and am so glad I did. They are getting married somewhere other than the DC metro area — had already hired their photographer…  Congrats to Kristin and Matt who tied the knot in June. Their wedding was at the precious and stunning Poplar Springs in Casanova, VA. I was cracking up driving there b/c my GPS got lost….so many back roads! I had a ball and thanks to my wonderful friend and 2nd shooter that day, Kerry Andruik!!… |
