Julia’s Blogfest

Such fun to have all these newborn sessions this past winter and spring.  Baby Silvie is actually 4 months old which isn’t the norm for me in terms of shooting.  She was an extremely happy and easy-going wee one so we had a great session.  What I forgot about this age is that they LOVE to jam their fists into their mouths…so aside from her glowing personality, we had to work around this hilarious aspect of being 4 months!

I completely forgot to blog about a belly session last month and since then these new parents have come in for their newborn session.  I am so honored to have been selected to be their photographer.  Little Miss “C’s daddy owns and is one of the instructors for my boys thrice-weekly TaeKwonDo classes at Capitol Martial Arts Academy.  I have fallen in love with this place as have they since last August when we started.   Unfortuantely, we’ll have to move on later this summer once we get into a routine in our new community which isn’t as close to the school as we are now.  But at least we got a year in!

Congrats on baby “C”!!

This was a great session.  The Roebuck family was given this newborn session as a baby shower gift from mom’s childhood friend.  How generous is that?  Little Master Roebuck was just over 2 weeks old in this session.  He was born during our massive December 22″ snowstorm!  Talk about a monumental entrance!
