Glorious SNOW in Northern VA
This is just such a remarkable day. In all my 41 years living in Alexandria, VA — I can only remember a couple HUGE storms like this and none in December. It’s so festive to happen the week of Christmas and that much more fun to enjoy this as a parent. It’s just a great excuse to STAY PUT — drink wine, eat kettle corn (thanks honie) and listen to Christmas tunes and watch God’s heavenly kindness fall upon us. We don’t have any hills around us and even if we did, we can’t drive anywhere right now so our front steps proved to be a improvisational hill.

Love this family. They came to me for Claire’s maternity and baby C’s newborn session last year. I am so glad when I manage to sway the love, affection and loyalty of my fabulous clients! *wink, wink*
This sweet family is always so easy to be around….we laugh a lot and just enjoy hanging around each other. They are Canadian so I hope they stay in the area so I can see baby C grow up! They were one of my last (on-location) sessions of the fall and just a nice way to end a great 2009! Thanks Dickson Family! XOXO
